  • Line your countertop container with paper to help absorb liquid or moisture from wet food scraps. Examples of paper would be newspaper, junk mail, small bags from bakeries or fast food restaurants (remove any stickers).

  • BPI or CMA-W certified compostable bags can also be used to line your countertop container, although these tend to trap moisture rather than absorb it like paper does. Some grocery stores are offering these in the produce department.

  • Let your coffee grounds and filters air dry a bit before you put them in your countertop container.

  • Easy fit under sink, cupboard, countertop or corner
